Video lessons and a field toolkit for community health workers
Twenty short videos, printable job aids and a quiz app that works offline, produced in Portuguese and Spanish.
The challenge
Community health workers learned new protocols through long printed manuals that rarely reached the field. Supervisors needed material that workers could review between home visits.
Our approach
We wrote the scripts with experienced health workers and filmed in real community settings. Each video lasts under four minutes and ends with three questions in the companion app, which syncs results when a connection is available.
Results
Supervisors now use the videos in monthly meetings, and quiz results show which protocols need reinforcement in each district.
